Lingerie out of your comfort zone? Wear these instead
Lingerie is a very popular choice when it comes to choosing your boudoir outfits. But it’s not for everyone. Is lingerie out of your comfort zone? Wear these instead.
Here are a few ideas:
- Dresses. A well-fitting dress can be just as flattering as lingerie, and in some cases much more comfortable to wear. There are dresses for every body type and style, so you’re sure to find one that makes you feel confident. I’d suggest a long, lacey gown with spaghetti straps and a low neckline.
- A pair of high-waisted jeans. Go topless with a pair of high-waisted jeans. The high waist can provide some tummy control and help to elongate your legs. Choose a pair of jeans that fits you well and makes you feel comfortable. Not okay with being topless? Choose a cute tank top or even an off-the-shoulder crop top.
- Wear a sexy robe. Robes are another great option for feeling sexy and comfortable. There are many different styles and colors of robes available, so you can find one that you love. We even have a few at the studio that you can choose from.
- Try a big slouchy sweater. This is a classic, cute and comfy option that can be dressed up or down. Choose the kind that falls off the shoulders a bit and add a pair of knee-high socks to complete the look.
Why you might not be comfortable in lingerie
There are a few very understanding reasons why you might not be comfortable in lingerie:
- You might not feel confident in your body. If you’re not comfortable with your body, you might not feel comfortable wearing lingerie. This is perfectly normal and we can definitely work through this with you during your session. Everyone has insecurities about their body, and it’s important to remember that you are not wrong for feeling the way that you do.
- You might not like the way lingerie feels. Lingerie can be made from a variety of materials, and some materials might not feel comfortable on your skin. If you don’t like the way lingerie feels, you’re not going to want to wear it. And that is totally okay.
- You might not like how revealing lingerie can be. All bodies look good in lingerie. But it just may not be your style. I respect that. It’s important for you to wear what suits your individual personality so that you feel good during your session.
It’s important to remember that you don’t have to wear lingerie if you don’t want to. There are plenty of other outfit options to choose from. No matter what you choose to wear, the most important thing is that you feel good during your session.
