I'm the owner and photographer at The Boudie Bar Boudoir Studio here in Atlanta, Georgia. When I first ventured into the world of boudoir photography, I had no idea I'd fall in love with it. You see, I had been a wedding and portrait photographer for many years. That was all I knew. In fact, I was only persuaded to try boudoir photography by one of my wedding clients. Little did I know this would be the start of a beautiful and profound journey for me and a major turning point in my career.
The reason I fell in love with boudoir was so much deeper than taking pretty pictures. I fell in love with the life-changing effect the experience had on my clients. These beautiful souls would walk into my studio nervous, scared, weighed down by insecurities and sometimes on the verge of tears. I realized that although these photo sessions are a ton of fun, these people were here for something much more meaningful. They were here to get back in touch with themselves.
I photograph men & women from all walks of life, people of all shapes, sizes and cultures - doctors, lawyers, teachers, CEO's, stay at home moms, fathers, single people, married people, people who have just finalized a divorce, people healing from abuse or trauma, people who just want a moment to feel sensual and confident in themselves. These are people just like you and me.
Regardless of where these individuals are in life, I am here to provide a safe, judgement-free space for them to embrace their sensuality and let loose for a little while. Boudoir photography has given me the opportunity to lead people towards a journey of self love and acceptance. They leave my studio with a full heart and a whole new way to see themselves and that is something I am very passionate about.

Veronica Marie is the owner of PrettyBeat Beauty Bar. She has been a professional Makeup Artist for over 9 years. She is originally from Baltimore but now resides in Atlanta. She specializes in soft glam makeup looks in under 45 mins. She is also an experienced bridal makeup artist. Let Veronica help you enhance your God given beauty.
If you decide to add hair styling to your boudoir experience, professional Hair Styling services will be provided by Autumn Thomas!
Autumn is a hair stylist and makeup artist specializing in all areas of makeup artistry and hair styling including bridal, glamour, special Fx, photography, and videography. She works closely with her clients to select the best options that are guaranteed to accentuate their natural beauty.

WILL YOU SHARE MY IMAGES?
Our #1 priority is your comfort, especially with something as intimate as boudoir! We take your privacy VERY seriously and will never share any of your images without written permission. Sharing is completely up to you
DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO POSE?
Not at all sis! That's my job. I will be posing you from head to toe so that every shot showcases your gorgeous self in the best way. No need to have any prior posing experience ;)
WILL YOU PHOTOSHOP MY IMAGES?
I want you to absolutely love your portraits, so I do offer blemish removal and skin smoothing. Our goal is to edit in a way that the photos will still look like the natural you, but with intentions to display them. So, if any further editing is desired, just let me know.
DO I HAVE TO WEAR LINGERIE?
Nope! What you wear depends on your personality. Bring whatever you want to wear. You can wear a big slouchy sweater with knee high leggings, a sexy bodysuit, sweatpants or nothing at all. We also offer wardrobe, accessories and props here at the studio.
I'M NERVOUS. WHAT DO I DO?
Don't worry. We work with the every day individual just like you! It is completely normal to feel nervous at first. But after you get all glammed up and the the session gets moving along, you will begin having fun and will soon forget the nerves. And I will be there to guide you every step of the way.
WHAT TYPE OF PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER?
Our clients tend to purchase one of our custom album collections which will typically include a couture album and wall art prints. We also offer luxury handmade presentation boxes to store your prints in as well (prints included). Digital images collections, diamond blocks, digital playbooks and videography are offered as well.
WHY DO YOU SHOOT BOUDOIR?
I often get asked why I shoot boudoir. The answer is simple - I believe everyone deserves to feel beautiful. Being a boudoir photographer gives me the ability to create an experience, leading men & women on a journey to self-acceptance. This is my passion.
WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME?
Digital images. albums, wall art & presentation box orders are ready within 4 to 6 weeks. So please be sure to schedule your session well before you actually need your portraits.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
I am totally okay with you bringing 1 friend as long as they do not interfere with the session. They are more than welcomed to watch as long as they are not a distraction to you or I during the session. Anyone under 18 not permitted.
I'M NOT COMFORTABLE WITH MY BODY. CAN YOU FLATTER ALL WOMEN?
The people that you see on my site are every day people who at one point, were worried about the same exact thing. With our expertise, we are confident in being able to photograph people of all shapes and sizes. You'll see ;)
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
There are fees associated with a reschedule due to time being marked out and also the reservation of our hair and makeup artist. The reschedule date must be within 90 days of the original date. Reschedules and cancellations will result in fees to offset loss of business for both the studio and reserved makeup artist.
DOES THE SESSION FEE APPLY TO MY PRODUCT/COLLECTION ORDER?
The Session Fee covers your studio shoot, professional makeup services, your planning processes, access to The Boudie Bar Client Closet, editing and retouching of the images and your same-day viewing session (ordering appointment).
IMAGES AND ALBUMS ARE SOLD SEPERATELY.
WHAT ARE YOUR PRE-PAYMENT PLANS?
Financing is offered through PayPal Credit.
In-House pre-Payment Plans are zero interest with our boudie bank program. Plans can be a maximum of 8 months with a minimum payment of $200 per month. All boudie bank payments are set up on auto-draft and are applied to a studio gift card to be used towards your photo product purchase..
*Products are ordered and delivered after the balance is paid in full. No exceptions. Full balance is due by the day of the session. Post payment plans are prohibited!

AM I REQUIRED TO PURCHASE MY IMAGES?
Yes! There is a minimum purchase of $1800 required for each session. Once you have secured your booking, you will receive a pricing guide with details about all products and collections we offer. You can choose your products/collections, get your Boudie Bank set up and start making payments towards your purchase right away. That way, you wont have to worry about the financials on the day of your session. Plus, you will qualify for some awesome bonuses like extra images, extra sets, angel wings and more!!
